Eclectus Page
Sonnet is a red-sided Eclectus that is permanently
sanctuaried with our rescue. She was turned over by
a woman who has a terminally ill spouse. Sonnet is
our little "spokesbird" and attends all the elementary
schools and youth organizations that we speak at.
She is the one bird in the rescue that EVERYONE
can hold, pet and love. We think this girl is pretty
special!! She recently appeared in the Christian
Youth Theater's production of Anne of Avonlea
(march, 2007) and helped promote parrot education
and awareness. Thanks to CYT for letting us share
their spotlight!! A special thanks to the backstage
crew who voted Sonnet the prettiest actress on the
stage!
Elsa is a Grand Eclectus female. She
loves men but will tolerate most
everyone. Read more about her on
our adoptable birds page!
Cupcake is a red sided eclectus female. She is
permanently sanctuaried into the rescue. She has
permanently atrophied feet and a growth in her
throat that causes her to wheeze. It is not operable.
She has diminished liver and kidney function and
has a yellow tint to her skin. She doesn't have a
long life expectancy.

*UPDATE* Cupcake passed over the Rainbow
Bridge July 2, 2007
